Smokin' Hoggz Honey Barbecue Sauce

Servings: Makes About 2 1/2 cups

Recipe adapted from The Smoking Bacon & Hog Cookbook, $21.99, Page Street Publishing.
1 1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
1 cup honey
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup molasses
1/4 cup steak sauce
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp. seasoned salt, such as Lawry's
1 Tbsp. yellow mustard
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. dried oregano
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. salt


Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan and bring to a simmer. Simmer over medium-low heat until mixture thickens and sugars dissolve, about 15 minutes. Let cool; use immediately or refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
